Arsenal-linked Xavi Simons is set to join Paris Saint-Germain from PSV Eindhoven.

The midfielder moved from PSG to PSV a year ago, and now the Dutch side says the player has left their training camp to complete a return to France.

“Xavi Simons immediately leaves the training camp to complete the transfer with Paris Saint Germain,” a PSV statement read.

“The twenty-year-old attacker came to PSV last year and became an important player in Ruud van Nistelrooy’s team.”

The midfielder made 49 appearances for PSV, scoring 19 goals in the process and providing nine assists.

He also had the opportunity to play his first game for the Dutch national team.
