New Sevilla signing, Kelechi Iheanacho, has revealed that the club’s sporting director, Victor Orta, helped to convinced him to join the Spanish LaLiga club.
The Nigerian forward, who spoke during his first interview with the club on Thursday, said Orta played a big role in his decision to move to Sevilla this summer transfer window.
Iheanacho recently signed a two-year contract with the option of another year.
The 27-year-old is Sevilla’s fifth signing of the summer.
“Victor is a great guy. He really played a big role. He’s been watching me for a long time now and he knows the striker am,” Iheanacho said.
“He’s been doing a great job for the football club as well That is why it’s not really hard to do all this. So, yeah. So, Victor is a nice human being.”
