In a significant effort to tackle transportation challenges and uplift livelihoods in Kano Central, Senator Rufai Sani Hanga distributed 200 motorcycles and 11 Peugeot cars to his constituents today.
The empowerment program, held at the Senator Rufai Sani Hanga NNPP Kano Central Senatorial Campaign Office on Hadeja Road, drew hundreds of beneficiaries from across 15 Local Government Areas (LGAs).
This initiative is designed to support farmers, business owners, and commercial transport operators by providing essential tools to enhance their economic activities.
In addition to the vehicles, cash grants were awarded to those not receiving motorcycles or cars, further aiding their businesses.
Engr. Ibrahim Nakwalli, the senator’s Constituency Secretary, addressed the press after the event, emphasizing Senator Hanga’s dedication to improving the lives of his constituents.
“Senator Hanga is committed to enhancing the livelihoods of his people, as demonstrated by today’s distribution of vehicles and cash awards. Every two months, he ensures some form of empowerment reaches the community,” Nakwalli stated.
The distribution of 200 motorcycles and 11 cars went directly to directors managing empowerment and constituency affairs, as well as individuals from the community.
This initiative is part of Senator Hanga’s broader strategy to drive economic growth and community development across the Kano Central Senatorial District.
