Real Sociedad forward, Umar Sadiq trained with his teammates for the first time on Tuesday after recovering from injury, DAILY POST reports.
The Nigerian spent around eight months on the sidelines as a result of cruciate ligament injury.
Sadiq sustained the injury in Real Sociedad’s league clash against Getafe last September.
Real Sociedad posted a video of the striker’s return to training on their official Twitter handle.
The 26-year-old was welcomed with a guard of honour by his teammates.
Sadiq linked up with Real Sociedad from another LaLiga club, Almeria last summer.
He made three appearances for the Rojiblancos before the injury setback.
