Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has urged fans not to judge him after just three weeks he moved to the Emirates.
He said the supporters should not worry about his exorbitant price tag.
Rice insisted that he does not feel any pressure being the British record signing.
The England international joined Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side from West Ham this summer for a whopping £105 million.
Enzo Fernandez of Chelsea, however, holds the record for the most expensive signing made by a Premier League club after he joined for £106.8 million from Benfica in January.
The English midfielder told ESPN, “I don’t actually think about it. It is crazy to think, ‘Yeah OK, I’ve been sold for £100m,’ but I haven’t thought about it once.
“That’s a price tag that is now attached to me…
“In the end, judge me on the price tag then, don’t judge me after two or three weeks.”
