British broadcaster Piers Morgan has blamed Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta after the Gunners failed to beat Fulham in Saturday’s Premier League tie.
Morgan believes Arteta got his tactics wrong during Arsenal’s Premier League 2-2 draw with Fulham at Emirates Stadium.
He also questioned Arteta’s decision to use Kai Havertz against Fulham.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Arteta wrote: “I don’t get Arteta changing our whole system to accommodate Havertz. Just isn’t working. Put Gabriel back in next to Saliba, move White to right back, and stick Partey in the middle where he belongs. And take off Havertz.”
He added, “FT: 2-2. Bad result, poor performance, and it’s mainly Arteta’s fault. Tried to be too clever with his tinkering and we paid the price.”
DAILY POST reports that Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah scored Arsenal’s goals against Fulham.
