Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, breezed into Uyo on Sunday night ahead of his team’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Likuena of Lesotho.
Peseiro arrived the beautiful city in company of his three foreign assistants, Maykel Moreira, Acacio Santos and Vitor Hugo.
Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Football Normalization Committee, Prince Bonny Nyong, received the quartet at the Victor Attah International Airport.
The Super Eagles will begin preparations for the game on Monday.
Peseiro has already invited 23 players to camp for the game and the matchday two fixture with the Warriors of Zimbabwe.
The West Africans will entertain Leslie Notsi’s Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Thursday.
The three-time African champions will face Zimbabwe three days later at the Huye Stadium, Butare.
